Cotton Holdings Inc. Acquires Stellar Restoration Services, Adding Roofing Restoration to Commercial Disaster Recovery Capabilities

KATY, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cotton Holdings Inc. (“Cotton”), a leading infrastructure support services company in the fast-growing commercial restoration market, today announced the acquisition of Stellar Restoration Services (“Stellar”), a provider of comprehensive roofing restoration services for hail and weather-related damage to commercial properties. Stellar will retain its name and operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cotton under the continued leadership of co-Founders Michael de la Mora and Rick Bailey, who will retain an ownership interest in the business. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Stellar is part of Cotton’s expansion strategy to meet the growing demand for commercial restoration services in North America and globally. Headquartered in Houston with an international logistics center and a number of regional offices, Cotton provides property restoration and recovery, construction, roofing, consulting, temporary workforce housing and culinary services to public and private entities worldwide. Its turnkey recovery and restoration solutions help organizations rebuild from some the world’s most damaging catastrophes by promoting efficiency, transparency, cost savings, and quality.

“The addition of Stellar to the Cotton team brings tremendous value to our organization and will help us deliver a deeper set of roofing restoration capabilities to customers with an expanded geographic footprint in their time of need,” said Pete Bell, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cotton Holdings Inc. “Stellar has proven expertise that builds upon Cotton’s existing restoration and reconstruction capabilities and will add value in our service to our commercial clients.”

“This is an exciting opportunity for us to bring our extensive roofing restoration experience to Cotton, and to continue our growth as part of a comprehensive global disaster restoration platform,” said de la Mora, who founded Stellar in partnership with Bailey in 2011. “Cotton has an outstanding reputation, and shares our commitment to quality, responsive client service. There is a very natural cultural fit between us and the Cotton team,” added Bailey.
