Orasi and Parkland Team Up to Continue Critical Medical Technology Training During Pandemic

Large Dallas Area Health System Virtually Trains 1000+ Staff in Just Four Months

Medical staff are required to be properly trained in the use of electronic healthcare records, imaging devices, mobile health apps and more. If these systems are used incorrectly, the result can be poor patient care and/or inappropriate billing, leading to costly legal issues for an organization.

COVID-19 put an end to that just when we needed to train more than 400 new residents on Epic, an electronic health records system. But we couldn’t pause training,” said Daniel Cluck, Parkland’s Senior Clinical Informatics Learning Specialist.
