Therma-Tru Expands Smooth-Star Line of Doors With New Styles

MAUMEE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Therma-Tru is introducing several updates to the popular Smooth-Star line of fiberglass entry doors and sidelites, including black grilles between glass (GBGs), 8'0" 1- and 2-panel half-lite doors with an elevated bottom rail and 3/4-lite doors and sidelites with flush-glazed privacy and textured glass.

Designed with today’s home trends in mind, black GBGs are made to coordinate with black window grid patterns commonly seen on homes with Modern Farmhouse and Modern Tudor architectural influences. Available with Low-E or clear glass in flush-glazed and Lip-lite Smooth-Star doors and sidelites.

8'0" 1- and 2-Panel Half-Lite Doors with Elevated Bottom Rail

Ideal for both single- and multi-family new construction and remodeling, the 8'0" Smooth-Star 2-panel square top door has been redesigned with an elevated bottom rail to meet ADA requirements. The redesign also accommodates 22" x 47" glass inserts to create the half-lite over 1-panel door style.

EnLiten Flush-Glazed Options for ¾-Lite Smooth-Star Entry Doors & Sidelites

Create a timeless look perfect for the front entry with the 6'8" flush-glazed ¾-lite 1-panel door and sidelite now available with privacy and textured glass, as well as privacy and textured glass with divided lites. The new sidelite also features sticking that is identical to the flush-glazed door.
