Casey Sypek Named Partner by Miller Barondess, LLP

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Miller Barondess, LLP, a litigation firm in Los Angeles, is pleased to announce that Casey Sypek has joined its partnership.

Casey has been with the firm since 2014. She has substantial trial experience in state and federal courts in matters involving employment, contract, fraud, copyright, trademark, entertainment and false advertising disputes.

In 2020, Casey was part of the team that successfully defended the City of Inglewood and Mayor James Butts in multiple lawsuits instigated by Madison Square Garden-Forum and its attempts to block construction of the new L.A. Clippers arena in Inglewood. In 2019, Casey was part of the trial team that won a $15.8 million unanimous jury verdict for a Southern California Toyota dealership group against Toyota; and, in 2017, she was recognized by the Daily Journal on their list of Top Verdicts for winning a $2.5 million jury verdict against the University of California in an employment dispute on allegations of gender discrimination.

Casey is also on the advisory board of Guidelight Group, an organization that provides services to teens and adults with developmental disabilities.
