Rivers Casino Pittsburgh Reopens Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, at 8 a.m.

A warm welcome and winning awaits at Pittsburgh’s North Shore casino

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rivers Casino Pittsburgh will resume operations Monday, Jan. 4, at 8 a.m., following the governor’s three-week yearend shutdown of all Pennsylvania casinos. The gaming floor will be open 24/7, with amended hours for indoor dining and capacity restrictions not to exceed 50% property wide.

The casino’s much-anticipated reopening means approximately 1,086 Team Members will return to work this week. More may follow as business levels return. Rivers Casino Pittsburgh currently employs approximately 1,320.

All COVID-19 health and safety protocols remain in place, including masks or approved face-coverings, temperature checks, and social distancing for guests and Team Members, with no exceptions. Team Members continue to complete Daily COVID-19 Self Assessments, which have proven effective in preventing individuals who may have been exposed to the virus elsewhere from entering the property.

The Rivers Clean Team continues to work around the clock to keep the casino safe and sanitized. Air filtration technology from airPHX^® and AtmosAir^™ runs 24/7 property wide, continuously disinfecting surfaces and indoor air.

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh follows best practices from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and meets or exceeds all COVID-19 Casino Reopening Protocols announced by the PGCB. Additionally, Rivers Casino adheres to all guidelines issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and meets all operating requirements set by the Allegheny County Health Department.

Food & Beverage

Indoor dining capacity at all Rivers’ restaurants remains at 50%, per the Allegheny County Health Department and the Commonwealth. At each restaurant, alcohol is available with meals only. Restaurants’ hours of operation are subject to change, pending new orders from state or local officials.

Wheelhouse Bar & Grill — Wheelhouse Bar & Grill is the spot to catch any televised game while enjoying a delicious meal. Its hours are Monday to Thursday from 4-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.

FLIPT — This “burger-mecca” has high standards when it comes to top-quality, fresh ingredients. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, show your Players Club Card for 20% off the menu. Notable burgers you won’t want to miss include the "Breakfast Burger" with cherrywood smoked bacon, an over-easy egg and aged cheddar; the "Impossible Burger," which is the menu’s plant-based veggie burger; and the unique "FLIPT Burger Wrap," which includes all the fixings, minus the bun. FLIPT is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Mian — Mian offers quick-service authentic Asian cuisine for guests who want a delectable meal for dining in or carrying out. Every Monday, show your Players Club Card for 20% off the menu. Enjoy a variety of items, such as pork potstickers, Thai curry chicken, ramen and so much more. Mian is open from 5-11 p.m. Thursday through Monday, and is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Ciao — For a quick bite, Ciao is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3-10 p.m.

Hot Dog Cart — Daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., a hot dog cart will be available inside Drum Bar. Hot dogs are $2 with Players Club Cards and $3 without. The cart also offers nachos, chips and soft drinks.

At all Rivers Casino restaurants, alcohol service ends at 11 p.m. There is no alcohol service on the casino floor. Outdoor covered seating is available outside the main front entrance for takeout meals. Masks must be worn at all times, except when eating or drinking.

BetRivers Sportsbook

Kick Off the Postseason — The BetRivers Sportsbook at Rivers Casino will be showing every NFL playoff game for the remainder of the season. Writer windows are open during select times, and kiosks are open 24/7.

Score With New Sportsbook Comps — BetRivers Sportsbook is offering a rewards program that’s unmatched in Pennsylvania. Poker Room — The poker room will be open Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to 4 a.m., and Sunday from noon to 2 a.m. Rivers Casino will be offering the following games at this time: 1/3 No Limit Texas Hold’em and higher, and 1/3 Pot Limit Omaha and higher.
