WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Treliant’s Global Financial Crimes Compliance team recently performed pro bono work for Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin (HFH Wisconsin), to help the nonprofit mitigate fraud, money laundering, and compliance risks.
The Treliant team provided training for HFH Wisconsin, focusing on areas including Anti-Money Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act (AML/BSA) compliance requirements, red flags for suspicious activity, and industry best practices.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Treliant to offer this important training to the 35 local Habitat affiliates in Wisconsin," said Sara Kierzek, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin. "This training will provide affiliate boards, staff, and volunteers with the tools needed to safeguard Habitat mortgage processes in our state."
“We are pleased to be able to leverage Treliant’s subject matter expertise to provide assistance to Habitat in their mission to help low-income families with safe, decent, and affordable housing,” says Treliant Managing Partner Ross Marrazzo.
