Debra Geister Joins Treliant’s Compliance Group, Adding Depth in Technological Innovation and Fraud Prevention

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Debra Geister, a veteran of the financial crimes risk and compliance industry, has joined Treliant as Senior Director in its Corporate & Regulatory Compliance service area. She will use her 20-plus years of experience in compliance, financial crime, analytics, and technology management to support the clients of Treliant.

Debra has an extensive career in financial crimes risk and compliance. She was CEO of Section 2 Financial Intelligence Solutions, where she focused on analyzing and detecting transnational criminal organizations in financial systems. She has also worked with NICE Actimize, advising clients on fraud detection and prevention. Her work in banking compliance, in both advisory and executive positions, has included Managing Director for AML Advisory Services at Matrix International Financial Services, Vice President of Risk and Compliance at US Bank, and Senior Vice President at MetaBank, where she led the Fraud and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Unit.

At LexisNexis Risk Solutions, she was responsible for the anti-money laundering and fraud detection and prevention business lines. In that role, Geister was involved with big data and analytics initiatives, predictive modeling, product strategy, roadmap design, and market strategies. She also worked with clients as a subject matter expert and product strategy lead.
