Silicon Valley Veteran, David Cross, Appointed LibDib CTO

New Chief Technology Officer tapped to further drive innovation of the 3-tier system

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LibDib^TM, the web-based wholesale alcohol distributor, today announced that Chief Architect, David Cross, has been named LibDib’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Cross’ appointment is part of LibDib’s expansion within technology development and data analytics initiatives.

“Starting day one, David Cross was the driving force in the development of LibDib’s wholesale alcohol platform,” said Richard Brashears, LibDib’s CIO. “His new role will allow him to lead our Silicon Valley team in the further development of engaging supplier and customer experiences.”

With more than 30 years of software development experience, David Cross has expertise in mobile, cloud and big data applications. As LibDib’s Chief Architect, Cross was instrumental in the commercial success and delivery of the entire B2B platform. Now as CTO, Cross directs the LibDib application and cloud teams, while working closely with LibDib’s partner RNDC as the two companies collaborate on alcohol distribution’s digital transformation. Cross replaces Richard Brashears, LibDib’s founding CTO, who now serves as the company’s Chief Information Officer (CIO).
