HEAL Software Inc. Officially Launches to the Global Market With Next-Generation Product, New U.S. Headquarters, Expanded Leadership Team and Venture-Backing

First Preventive Healing Software for IT Operations that Fixes Problems Before They Happen Poised to Take North American Business to the Next Level

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HEAL Software Inc., the leader in the IT operations preventive healing space, today announced its launch to the global market with its HEAL brand of products and establishment of U.S. headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif. “HEAL” is the umbrella brand for its enterprise product portfolio for cloud, edge and on-premise deployments of its proven monitoring and artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps) software – the first of its kind to effectively preempt outages by acting before they occur. The award-winning and headline-grabbing brand will continue to enable digital enterprises to transform while further advancing the paradigm shift from break-and-fix to predict-and-prevent.

HEAL is the first artificial intelligence (AI) software that enables IT operations teams to find and fix problems before they happen. Rather than responding to alerts after an incident occurs, HEAL uses machine learning (ML) models and AI algorithms to perform correlations between cross-platform events and provide both highly accurate capacity projections as well as pinpoint previously imperceptible early warning signals indicating the likelihood of a future problem.

The heavily patented techniques enable IT operations teams to respond proactively and even automatically correct issues before they arise without human intervention. Plus, by correlating events and providing a complete picture of the root of the issues versus just the symptoms, enterprises see fewer incidents overall and waste less time troubleshooting.

HEAL Software’s new leadership team brings deep industry knowledge and will help further advance its penetration into North American and global markets.

  • George Thangadurai has been named chief executive officer. Previously a member of the company’s board of directors, Thangadurai is very familiar with HEAL Software’s vision, strategy and go-forward plan. He is a proven multi-functional business leader in mobility, security, SaaS and IoT with 25+ years of experience.
  • D. Padmanabhan, aka Paddy, joins the board of directors to guide the company, and will play an active role driving the vision and execution of its next phase of growth. Paddy is well known in the banking industry having founded multiple start-ups and was the chief architect of Finacle at Infosys. He is a respected expert in application performance management and AI/ML-based enterprise IT Ops solutions.
  • Mike Mulica, the current chairman of AlefEdge, has joined the board of directors. Mulica is a mobile and internet technology veteran who has led and scaled many highly successful global companies including Phone.com, Openwave, RealNetworks, FusionOne, Synchronoss and Actility.
  • Muckai Girish has taken on an expanded role as chief sales and marketing officer. In this position, he will bring expertise from his time as the company’s chief revenue officer to help drive global growth and scale, streamline and consolidate sales and marketing. Girish brings more than 25 years of start-up and large-company experience in commercial roles within SaaS, AI/ML, security and networking at companies such as Passage AI and Juniper Networks.

“There is high growth projected in the AI-driven IT operations management segment,” stated Thangadurai. We firmly believe HEAL Software Inc. is uniquely positioned to help meet customer demands with our core set of products anchored around our HEAL brand. To date, our customers have achieved an average 60 percent reduction in false-positive alerts, a 60 percent reduction in developer time spent solving problems and a 75 percent decrease in incidents.”

This exciting new technology category has motivated Avataar Venture Partners to invest $24M in HEAL Software Inc.

"HEAL offers the industry's first autonomous IT operations software and Avataar is excited about this investment and new leadership team," said Mohan Kumar, managing partner at Avataar Venture Partners and a board member. "These funds will enable the expansion of its global presence and extend its market reach to enable greater adoption of autonomous business operations, which will save companies a tremendous amount of time and money."
