“Creating a sense of comradery and helping those who are struggling during this time of year is a critical part of giving back to our community, especially with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” said Michael Scott, co-CEO of Cannapreneur Partners. “By partnering with impactful organizations such as New England Center for Homeless Veterans and Pine Street Inn, we hope to make a difference in the lives of homeless individuals, veterans and others in the communities that we look forward to serving.”
“Having served on the frontlines in Afghanistan, the veteran community is very near and dear to my heart,” said Army Sgt. and co-founder of JWTC Wick Bill Duggan. “Many veterans suffer from severe depression and PTSD, and through our work with Cannapreneur Partners, our goal is to provide support to these individuals who have supported our nation so much over the years. By spending time giving back this holiday, we can better connect with the veterans’ community and share ways to empower them and their families.”
Cannapreneur Partners also recently announced a joint venture with two veteran-owned and operated cannabis dispensaries in Massachusetts: JWTC Wick and Noble Mana LLC. The newly formed joint venture will support the veteran’s community by supplementing the costs of cannabis products at JWTC Wick’s dispensary and Noble Manna LLC’s dispensary upon opening; giving back a portion of dispensary profits to help widen access to cannabis for veterans; and launching a veterans-focused mentorship program to broaden veterans’ professional skill sets, drive retention in the workplace and open up access to key networks.
