Joe Ciccarelli expands firm’s NY Metro presence

FLORHAM PARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Tax Management (GTM), the largest firm in the Mid-Atlantic region to focus exclusively on delivering corporate tax services, announced today that it has brought on former Big 4 partner Joe Ciccarelli to support the firm’s expanded New York Metro focus, servicing clients directly within New York City. In this role, Joe will manage engagements for public and private multinational companies as GTM’s NYC client base continues to broaden.

Joe brings more than twenty years of experience providing tax consulting and compliance management services to publicly traded companies in the areas of federal, state, and international taxation. His specific areas of expertise include accounting for income taxes (ASC 740), corporate tax compliance, transaction advisory, and tax planning.

Prior to joining GTM, Joe was a lead tax partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he served large, publicly traded multinational companies across many industries including pharmaceutical and life sciences, industrial products, retail, and consumer goods. He was responsible for the overall leadership of global tax engagement teams, coordination of tax services, and identification of appropriate technical resources to match client needs.

Joe has a long history with GTM, having served as a managing director for the firm prior to his tenure at PwC, and as a client of GTM earlier in his career while serving in an executive tax leadership position with a multinational company.
