The Aliera Companies Sponsor Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Aliera Companies (Aliera) today announced its sponsorship of the Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb’s (Good Samaritan) 2020 Charity Golf Tournament, hosted at the Marietta Country Club in Kennesaw, GA. Health care remains a burdensome expense for low-income families in our community, and with the ongoing health care crisis surrounding COVID-19, this unfortunate reality has been intensified.

Founded in 2006, the Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb has provided almost 33,000 patient visits and $14 million in medical, dental, pharmaceutical and counseling services for low income families in need of support, which is made possible by the generosity of hundreds of volunteers, strategic partners and donors, such as the Aliera Companies. The founding purpose of Good Samaritan is clear, “To spread the love of Christ and provide a primary medical and dental healthcare home to the uninsured and underinsured, working poor and indigent in our community,” a mission Aliera fully supports.

The Aliera Companies has a long history of making charitable donations, and the company is delighted to continue these efforts in its local community. Chase Moses, President of the Aliera Companies, and Jon Hatcher, President of Ensurian, a subsidiary of the Aliera Companies, participated in the event. Moses remarked, “Good Samaritan has been delivering high quality care to the citizens of Cobb County for many years, and the Aliera Companies appreciates the opportunity to participate in such a life-changing event.”

About Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb

Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb, a 501(c)3 non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center, opened its doors in 2006 with a mission “to spread the love of Christ by providing quality healthcare to those in need.” The Center was co-founded by Reverend Grant Cole, pastor of Connection Point Church and Dr. Jack Kennedy, Director of Cobb & Douglas Public Health after recognizing that medical bills and unexpected dental emergencies were the root cause of financial hardship, family instability, and diminishing quality of life in the community.
