Patientco’s PatientWallet® Now Available in Epic App Orchard

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Patientco, a next-generation patient payment technology company, announced that its PatientWallet integration with Epic is now available in the App Orchard. The integration allows patients to access Patientco’s PatientWallet from their MyChart portal to view and pay their healthcare bills.

Once a patient receives Patientco’s billing communication via their preferred channel, such as email, text or paper, they are directed to MyChart. Then with one click, the patient is taken to the PatientWallet. Through this integration, patients can access a comprehensive suite of payment options without having to remember multiple logins and passwords.

Within the PatientWallet, patients can leverage convenient, self-service payment options, including personalized options like prompt pay discounts, payment plans and long-term financing. Patientco’s PatientWallet is designed to improve payment rates for health systems and supports real-time automated payment posting with a single deposit that is reconciled daily. Additionally, because payment data does not pass through the health system’s servers, clients are not exposed to increased PCI scope.

In addition to the PatientWallet, Patientco has three other payment solutions currently available in App Orchard:

• Patientco IVR, which allows patients to complete a payment via phone at any time, regardless of their healthcare provider’s business hours;
