O2 Industries Selected for Lazaridis Institute’s ScaleUp Program

The program supports the growth and acceleration of innovative companies poised to lead their industries

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--O2 Industries (the Company) a leading manufacturer of reusable respirators since 2014, today announces that it has been selected by The Lazaridis Institute for the Management of Technology Enterprises to be a part of the world renowned Lazaridis ScaleUp Program.

The Lazaridis ScaleUp Program supports the growth of Canada’s highest-potential growth-stage companies through mentorship, intensive workshops and access to a global network of experts. This year marks the sixth cohort of the Lazaridis ScaleUp Program and the largest cohort to date, with 13 of Canada’s highest-potential growth-stage tech companies being selected. The 50 companies in the first five ScaleUp Program cohorts have accessed $600 million in capital in less than four years, and created more than 2,088 jobs.

Selection for this program follows a month of tremendous growth for O2 Industries, with the Company recently announcing its global partnership with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and collaboration with former UFC fighter Georges St-Pierre to develop a first-of-its-kind fitness respirator.
