COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT

SIGMA FINANCE CORPORATION (IN RECEIVERSHIP)

The receivers of Sigma Finance Corporation (In Receivership) (the "Company"), being S.J. Edel and S. J. Harris, each of Ernst & Young LLP (the "Joint Receivers"), have today made the following announcement.

Capitalised terms used in this announcement and not otherwise defined have the meanings given to them in the Amended and Restated Security Trust Deed dated 27 March 2003 (the "Security Trust Deed") between the Company and Deutsche Trustee Company Limited (the "Security Trustee").

Resignation of M. E. Mills and A. R. Bloom as Joint Receivers

Effective 8 October 2020, in accordance with Clause 9.1 of the Deed of Appointment of the Receivers dated 6 October 2008, M. E. Mills and A. R. Bloom have resigned as Joint Receivers of the Company.

Appointment of S. J. Edel as replacement Joint Receiver

On 8 October 2020, the Security Trustee appointed S. J. Edel as the replacement Joint Receiver of the Company pursuant to a supplemental deed of appointment. S. J. Harris remains in office as the Joint Receiver of the Company.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales authorises S J Harris and S J Edel to act as Insolvency Practitioners under section 390(2)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986. The Insolvency Practitioners Association authorises S J Edel to act as an Insolvency Practitioner in England and Wales.

The Joint Receivers and Managers may act as data controllers of personal data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, depending upon the specific processing activities undertaken. Ernst & Young LLP and/or the company may act as a data processor on the instructions of the Joint Receivers and Managers. Personal data will be kept secure and processed only for matters relating to the Joint Receivers’ and Managers’ appointment.
