GCOM Announces Paul G. Murray as New Chief Financial Officer

ALBANY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GCOM, a leading provider of technology solutions focused on state and local governments, today announced the hire of Paul G. Murray as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, Murray is responsible for overseeing GCOM’s financial strategy and operations, internal technology and infrastructure, and business process optimization as it continues its trajectory of growth and expansion nationally.

Murray’s specialties include scaling high-growth businesses including guiding strategic mergers and acquisitions that increase company value and customer offerings. He brings over 25 years of financial experience to GCOM. Prior to joining GCOM, Murray was CFO & Treasurer for Phase One Consulting Group (acquired by Accenture). Murray also served as CFO of Digital Management Inc (DMI) where he was able to more than triple the company in size and scale. He also led initiatives at DMI and Phase One to achieve ISO and CMMI accreditations. Earlier in his career, Murray was CFO at Compudyn Corporation, Aptiv Technology Partners, and Proxicom, all portfolio companies of The Gores Group. Murray received his B.S. from the University of Richmond and an M.B.A. in Finance from Westminster College.
