Food-X Technologies Appoints Daryl Porter to Advisory Board

Established eCommerce leader to bring strong strategic insights

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Food-X Technologies, a leading scalable end-to-end software solution for profitable online grocery fulfilment, today announced the appointment of eCommerce and retail industry veteran Daryl Porter to its advisory board.

As an advisor, Mr. Porter brings over 25 years of retail experience and a proven track record of delivering strong business and financial results. He has extensive knowledge and success in developing business strategies aimed to improve customer experience and increase market share. Recently, Mr. Porter served in roles of increasing responsibility for Walmart Canada, including as Vice President of eCommerce Logistics and Operations, a Global Officer Level role, in which he was responsible for the development of the online grocery business and the core eCommerce supply chain. He has led the online grocery program in Canada since its infancy and has scaled the business across the country. In that effort, he had full ownership of the strategy, partnership development and accountability for all business results. He currently serves as the Global Head of Stores at Anheuser-Busch InBev.

Mr. Porter joined Walmart in 1995 and has been in retail operations and eCommerce his whole career, eventually working his way up to Vice President of eCommerce Logistics and Operations. He also served in the Canadian Forces Army Reserve from 1996-2007. He holds a Masters of Business Administration in Executive Management from Royal Roads University.
