Hair Cuttery to Lead COVID-19 Safety Protocol with Curbside Cuts and Scrubs

Hair Cuttery to offer exclusive Curbside Cuts starting August 20 along with new safety initiatives at 500 locations

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hair Cuttery will begin offering Curbside Cuts at their Aventura location in Miami, as one of its newest safety initiatives following the reopening of 500 salons, to continue easing guest concerns about getting a haircut during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting August 20, curbside cuts will be performed by one of Hair Cuttery’s licensed salon professionals and available to guests each morning from 9-11 a.m.

Starting August 16, Hair Cuttery, one of the largest salon chains in the country, will test outfitting salon professionals in a select number of Florida locations in scrubs. Moisture wicking and odor control technology keeps salon professionals cool and comfortable while providing services during working hours. Salon professionals can easily incorporate clean scrubs into their workday as they are wash and dry durable without worry of damage. Every salon requires masks and will be well-equipped with PPE masks for salon professionals and customers.

“We hear our guests' concerns and conversations surrounding the safety of entering a salon. We understand we are in unprecedented times, yet our guests are often in need to come in for their visit,” stated Seth Gittlitz, Chief Executive Officer of Hair Cuttery Family of Brands. “We are truly committed to the continued safety and satisfaction of our salon professionals and guests. Curbside Cuts will ensure that we are able to serve any guests that may have worries about visiting salons in a safe and comfortable way. We are well-positioned to keep our community happy and healthy, and to continue to safely serve our customers through and beyond the pandemic.”
