Company Expands Leadership Team Amidst Rapid Growth and Customer Adoption

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Infocyte, a recognized leader in advanced threat detection and incident response, announced today that it has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointment of industry veteran Virginia Satrom as Vice President of Marketing. Satrom brings more than a decade of marketing experience in the cybersecurity industry working extensively with top security partners worldwide.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Virginia to the team,” said Curtis Hutcheson, CEO of Infocyte. “The company is at a pivotal spot in its growth strategy and it was critical that we bring the right marketing leader to help us continue our journey to become the leading detection and response solution for the midmarket. Despite the macro challenges that we have faced in 2020, we continue to expand adoption of the Infocyte platform among top security practitioners worldwide. Virginia’s marketing strategy and execution experience working with sophisticated security partners will help us further expand our ability to reach and serve the broader market.”

Virginia joins Infocyte from Flashpoint, where she held a senior role leading marketing strategy and execution at a global scale. Prior to that, Virginia led Forcepoint content, social media, and communications strategy, earning a Raytheon Communications Award. She has also led channel marketing, communications, events, and sales enablement while at RSA Security. She also leverages her rich industry experience to mentor women new to the cybersecurity space. Virginia graduated as a double major cum laude with a Bachelor's degree from The University of Massachusetts Amherst in Marketing & Psychology.

“I am incredibly proud to join Infocyte’s leadership team at this remarkable time for the company. The value proposition is clear and easy to prove: we find what others miss and help organizations find and eliminate sophisticated attacks in a way that no one else can—not even some of the largest companies in the industry,” Satrom said. “I am tremendously excited to amplify the company’s story and impressive case studies to drive even more market awareness and customer adoption of our product suite.”
