MCInfo Recommended for Insurance Filings by Kentucky Transportation Cabinet

MCInfo used by KYTC for nearly two decades

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Beginning Tuesday, the Motor Carrier Information Exchange (MCInfo) service will be the recommended method for filing intrastate motor carrier insurance forms to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). MCInfo, managed by National Online Registries (NOR), allows insurance companies to generate and file common insurance forms instantly online.

KYTC has received and processed electronic insurance forms filed through MCInfo for nearly two decades. The state requires insurance forms E, H and K for motor carriers operating within its borders.

Kentucky is one of 22 states currently participating in MCInfo. For these states, MCInfo provides a centralized system to receive and review insurance filings, automatically communicate with insurance companies, and track trends and progress via the reporting feature.
