Tech Data Names Jill Kermes Corporate Vice President of Corporate Communications

CLEARWATER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tech Data today announced that it has named Jill Kermes as corporate vice president of corporate communications. Kermes brings more than 20 years of senior strategic communications experience and succeeds Arleen Quiñones, who has retired from the company. In her new role, Kermes will lead Tech Data's external and internal communications strategy and teams on a global basis.

Kermes brings significant and diverse corporate communications experience, most recently serving at Tampa-based tech start-up Lumina, and before that, leading communications for HSN and its parent company, HSNi. During her time at HSN, Kermes oversaw the internal and external communications for HSN’s acquisition by QVC and led corporate affairs for the newly created Qurate Retail Group. Kermes has also served in communications and corporate affairs leadership roles with Ketchum Public Relations, SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, Volkswagen Group of America, and as communications director for former Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s second administration.
