Loureiro Adds New Associate to the Environmental Assessment Division

PLAINVILLE, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kate Engler has joined Loureiro as an Associate in the Environmental Assessment Division. Headquartered in Plainville, Conn., with offices in Groton, Conn., New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C., Loureiro is an employee-owned, full-service multi-disciplinary firm providing engineering, environmental health and safety, energy, facility, waste management consulting, construction, and laboratory analytical services.

Kate has a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Chemistry from Cornell University and is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology. Kate has significant experience in risk assessment and toxicology, site investigation and remediation, and staff, operations, and financial management. Kate was most recently Branch Manager of the New England Division at Apex Companies, LLC and was responsible for of the financial performance and growth of the environmental program within the Division. In addition, she has provided human health risk assessment and toxicological consulting at all project phases for sites involving indoor air, groundwater, sediment and soil media according to federal regulations as well as those of multiple states across the US.
