Fast-Growing Wellness Brand, Restore Hyper Wellness + Cryotherapy, Opening in Plymouth Meeting

Wellness chain provides innovative wellness experiences in fun and welcoming environments.

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Restore Hyper Wellness + Cryotherapy (Restore), an Austin-based wellness chain, and the nation’s leading provider of alternative wellness solutions, announced today the opening of its Plymouth Meeting location. The store, which will fill 3,000 square feet with an exterior facing entrance at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, opened to the public on June 1, 2020 and will hold a Grand Opening Event Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28.

Restore addresses the fastest growing segments of wellness, helping people in need of chronic pain management, accelerated injury recovery, improved athletic performance and healthspan longevity. Its most popular services include:

  • Whole Body Cryotherapy. A cryogenic therapy which immerses the body in temperatures as low as -260oF for up to 3 minutes. This modality releases endorphins and reduces inflammation in the body, providing a mood and energy boost, relieving muscle pain, improving sleep, and burning 500 - 800 calories per session.
  • IV Therapy. IV therapies deliver vital hydration and micronutrients that provide a range of benefits, including helping detoxify the body and improving its immune function, brain health, energy and longevity.

Mike and Angela Palumbo, along with Andy and Michele Ayers, will own the upcoming Restore location at the Plymouth Meeting Mall. Mike is a Philadelphia native and a graduate of Episcopal Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy. Angela is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has worked within the Restore network since their first Pennsylvania opening in 2018. The Palumbo’s have four children involved in athletics, which contributed to their interest in Restore.

This will be the Ayers’ third Restore location, and the first of many planned in the Philadelphia area. They have been involved with Restore from the very beginning. While this is Restore’s 53rd location nationwide, the Ayers’ opened locations #2 and #5 in the Restore franchise network. They have personally benefited from the services offered by Restore and are passionate consumers of the services they offer.

“We look forward to helping people in the Philadelphia area do more of what they love to do,” said owner Mike Palumbo. “Whether you’re an elite athlete looking to stay at the front of the pack, suffer from chronic back pain, or simply want to be proactive about your health, our team is here to help you achieve your goals.”

Restore recently opened its 50th location nationally and plans to grow to over 100 locations by the end of 2020.

The local site will employ a variety of full- and part-time workers, including wellness representatives, stretch therapists, estheticians and registered nurses under the oversight of independent physicians.
