AM Best Panel: COVID-19 Stress Testing Results and Next Steps

In March 2020, AM Best announced the development of a Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR) stress test to gauge the immediate impact of COVID-19 on rated insurers’ financial strength, as well as to indicate sensitivities and highlight areas that may need further examination.
