Piper Sandler Expands Public Finance Investment Banking with the Hiring of Mikki Mathews

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Piper Sandler Companies (NYSE: PIPR), a leading investment bank and institutional securities firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Mikki Mathews to its public finance investment banking team, specializing in municipal financings. Mathews will be based in the firm’s new Baton Rouge, Louisiana office, and will work with an existing team of public finance bankers in Memphis to build the firm’s presence in the area.

Prior to joining the firm, Mathews was a vice president in commercial banking at J.P. Morgan. While in commercial banking, Mathews worked with government clients and managed diverse facets of the relationship including cash management, purchasing government backed securities, and debt financing through bank direct purchases.
