Elevate Security Demonstrates SOC 2SM Compliance for Security and Availability Trust Services Criteria

BERKELEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Elevate Security, a platform that measures, influences, and reduces human cybersecurity risk, today announced that the company has undergone a Service Organization Control (SOC) 2SM examination resulting in a CPA’s report stating that management of Elevate Security maintained effective controls over the security and availability of its platform. The engagement was performed by BARR Advisory, P.A.

A SOC 2SM report is designed to meet the needs of existing or potential customers of service organizations, like Elevate Security, who require assurance about the effectiveness of controls. These controls are relevant to the security, availability, or processing integrity of the service organization to process customers’ information, or the confidentiality or privacy of that information.

"We are pleased to obtain a SOC 2SM report, which shows that we have the appropriate controls in place to mitigate risks related to security and availability. Our platform is built upon the trust our customers have in it, and we are thrilled to have external evidence that we follow industry best practices regarding security,” said Robert Fly, CEO of Elevate Security.

A SOC 2SM report is an internal control report on the services provided by a service organization to its customers and provides valuable information that existing and potential customers of the service organization need to assess and address the risks associated with an outsourced service.
