NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kramer Levin is pleased to announce that Adi Herman is joining the firm’s Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions practices as a partner in New York.

Mr. Herman advises clients on domestic and cross-border transactional and corporate matters, with a particular focus on the private equity space. “Kramer Levin is experiencing high demand for its M&A services from both private equity sponsors and strategic clients,” said James J. Moriarty and Ernest S. Wechsler, co-chairs of the firm’s Corporate department. “Adi’s impressive M&A track record and knowledge of sophisticated private equity deal-making align well with the tailored solutions and high-quality, practical advice we provide to our clients, and we couldn’t be more excited that he is joining us.”

“Kramer Levin is a go-to firm for middle-market M&A, which is a perfect match for my practice,” Mr. Herman said. “This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop my practice and to help expand upon Kramer Levin’s exceptional transactional platform. I look forward to joining forces with the talented lawyers at Kramer Levin and to providing the best possible service to the varied clients we serve in today’s dynamic deal environment.”

Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Mr. Herman spent nearly a decade at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, first as an associate and then as a partner. He earned an LL.M. and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia Law School after obtaining his law degree at the University of Vienna in his native Austria.
