Elara Caring Names Bruce Jarvie as Chief Financial Officer

ADDISON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Elara Caring, one of the nation’s leading providers of home health care services, today announced that industry veteran Bruce Jarvie has been named Chief Executive Officer (CFO), effective immediately. In this position, Jarvie will be accountable for all financial functions including reporting and controls, budgeting and forecasting. As a member of the executive team, he will help the company execute a strategy that drives growth and creates a shared service organization across its footprint. Jarvie will report to CEO Scott Powers.

Jarvie previously served as CFO at EmblemHealth, a company with over 3 million members. He also held a divisional CFO position at Optum (part of UnitedHealth Group), and served in senior finance roles at BAE Systems, Inc. and UAL Corporation, the parent company of United Airlines.
