Northforge Innovations Awarded 2020 Employer Excellence Award from Hire Immigrants Ottawa

Award recognizes local employers in Ottawa region who hire skilled immigrants

OTTAWA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Northforge Innovations, Inc., an expert software consulting and development company, has been awarded the 2020 Employer Excellence Award from Hire Immigrants Ottawa (HIO). The HIO recognized Northforge’s innovative workplace policies and practices in the recruitment and integration of skilled immigrant employees. Launched in 2006, the HIO initiative was created as a response to a growing need to identify and address barriers and challenges employers face in attracting, hiring and integrating skilled immigrants into the labour force.

The annual award is based on the judgement of an independent selection committee made up of Human Resource executives from the National Capital Region. It was presented to Northforge at today’s Employer Council of Champions Summit at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
