Joe Silver Joins Sun Capital Partners as Managing Director

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sun Capital Partners, Inc. (“Sun Capital”), a leading private investment firm focused on investing in market-leading companies, today announced that Joe Silver has joined the firm as Managing Director – Investor Relations. He will work from the firm’s Boca Raton office.

Silver brings more than 25 years of experience working with institutional investors, family offices, and advisors on investments in private equity and other alternative assets. Over the course of his career, Silver has secured billions of capital commitments on behalf of his clients.

Silver is joining Sun Capital from EdgeLine Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based placement firm he co-founded in 2009 that works closely with investors across North America, APAC, and Europe. Prior to EdgeLine, Silver served as an executive at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he oversaw the U.S. Western Region for the public funds business. Earlier in his career he held senior positions at New York Life Investment Management and Great West Life. Silver received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the E.C. Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond.
