Virginia State Corporation Commission’s Bureau of Insurance selects Prometric® as Their New Insurance Licensing Exam Content Provider and Delivery Administrator

Partnership to Provide Collaborative Customer-Focused Support

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Prometric has been chosen by the Virginia State Corporation Commission’s Bureau of Insurance as its new national test delivery partner for multiple lines of authority. Under the five-year agreement, Prometric will work with the Bureau to deliver secure high-quality exams to aspiring insurance professionals. The partnership will develop innovative solutions that provide greater access to the Bureau’s licensing program. The program will go live on June 1, 2020.

The partnership with the Virginia Bureau of Insurance comes on the heels of six other Prometric wins over the past 18 months in the insurance regulatory industry, including significant new contracts or renewals with the Arizona Department of Insurance; the Oklahoma Insurance Department; the New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance; the North Dakota Insurance Department; the North Carolina Department of Insurance; and the Utah Insurance Department. The Bureau will receive the same benefits as these organizations, starting with Prometric’s reliable, collaborative transition management process.
