Never Miss the Bus Again: Destinations Career Academy of Oregon Online Public School Now Open for ‘20-‘21 School Year

PRINVILLE, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Although it's early in the calendar year, Destinations Career Academy of Oregon (ORDCA), a full-time online and blended public school, is ready to welcome students in grades 9-12 to enroll for the 2020-2021 school year beginning February 27.

ORDCA gives your student a personalized learning experience designed to assist those who seek alternative pathways to education.

ORDCA is tuition-free to all students who reside in Oregon. Authorized by the Mitchell School District, and delivered entirely online, ORDCA combines online instruction, rigorous curriculum and the support of state-licensed teachers.

In addition to working towards their high school diplomas, ORDCA students can participate in the Destinations Career Program, which allows them to discover exciting options for their future in career fields like Business and Management, Health Sciences, and Arts, Information and Communications.

Overall, ORDCA offers challenging academic curriculum focused on college preparation. Students take a full course load in the core subjects of math, science, English language arts, history, and art. Electives include world languages, photography, and personal finance. ORDCA also offers student clubs, in-person field trips, and social gatherings to foster a sense of school community.

Virtual classes are taught by Oregon-licensed teachers who provide instruction during live online class sessions, and are available to students via phone, email and one-to-one meetings.
