Priority Health Brings Amazon Shopping to Commercial Group and Individual Members

New collaboration allows members to purchase eligible items from Amazon

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Michigan-based health insurer Priority Health announced that members who are part of a commercial group or individual health plan have a convenient way to order and pay for eligible items using health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (FSA) through its Amazon storefront. Priority Health is among the first health insurers in Michigan to collaborate with Amazon on an HSA and FSA-eligible storefront.

“Priority Health continues to seek out ways for our members to get more for their money by providing health insurance built around their unique needs,” said Carrie Kincaid, Vice President, Individual Markets at Priority Health. “By collaborating with Amazon, we are able to offer quick and easy home delivery of items to improve the lives of our members.”

Through the company’s branded storefront on Amazon, Priority Health members will be able to shop from thousands of HSA and FSA eligible items, ranging from bandages to contact solution, and place their orders. Members who already use Amazon can add the eligible items to their existing carts for convenient shopping and delivery. Additionally, members can choose to add their HSA and/or FSA debit cards to their Amazon account for easy payment and minimal paperwork for reimbursement. If members elect to not add their HSA or FSA card to their account, they can still take advantage of the convenience of shopping with Amazon and submit receipts for reimbursement.

“Shopping for these items from Priority Health’s storefront on Amazon is the smart choice for our members because it allows them to take advantage of cost-effective options and get more value from their health plan,” said Kincaid.
