PathSolutions Announces TotalView 11 Release With SIEM Event Research Optimization

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PathSolutions, a leading provider of network performance management and VoIP/UC performance management software, today announced the release of TotalView v11, including a Security Operations Manager module which will dramatically improve SIEM event research and response times.

“TotalView Security Operations Manager gives CISOs and security analysts the ability to cut SIEM event research from 30-minute playbook executions down to 2-3 minutes due to the rich information that we provide via a single solution. This means more events get researched and resolved faster because more information is brought to the table, pre-analyzed for rapid comprehension and awareness of what’s actually happening,” said Tim Titus, Founder & CTO of PathSolutions. “An analyst can quickly locate where the suspicious device is on the network, what the device is, who is logged in, what their security rights are, whom they are talking to, where the data is going, and what the risk is associated with that communication. Immediate quarantine capability can be performed from inside the solution.”

Additional new security awareness features in this release include geographic risk identification of communications, rogue IT device detection, exposure reporting indicating bad practices that are employed in the environment, and an enterprise-wide global search that can locate if there are devices of a specific manufacturer anywhere on the network, for rapid identification and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
