CrowdStrike Announces Automated Sensor Deployment for Falcon on Google Cloud

CrowdStrike deepens partnership with Google Cloud to deliver customers automated endpoint security at scale and help meet compliance requirements across hybrid environments

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CrowdStrike® Inc. (Nasdaq: CRWD), a leader in cloud-delivered endpoint protection, today announced that it will deliver automated sensor deployment of CrowdStrike Falcon® on Google Cloud Platform. The offering will be available with Google Cloud Operating System (OS) Configuration that automates software installation and simplifies resource management.

With automated sensor deployment, joint customers can easily install the lightweight CrowdStrike Falcon sensor for new Compute Engine resources on Google Cloud. The new offering allows customers to help maintain their strong security stance by using a centralized repository to store Falcon sensor packages and simplify and scale software distribution, installation, and management processes. Customers will be able to install Falcon sensors for workloads across multiple Google Cloud accounts on demand, providing organizations enhanced visibility of their operational state, and allowing them to quickly meet security and compliance requirements. The operating systems (OS) supported by the automated sensor deployment offering include RedHat, Ubuntu, and Windows.

Benefits include:

  • Shorten Time to Deployment: With a centralized repository to manage all sensor packages in one place, customers can quickly choose which software versions to install for providing endpoint protection for their workloads hosted in Google Cloud environments.
  • Improve Efficiency with Ease of Use: Customers can manage all CrowdStrike Falcon sensor deployments from a single user interface as new workloads spin up. They can automate operational tasks to make workload deployments efficient and secure from bring-up time.
  • Gain Control and Visibility: Organizations can gain control of the environment by allowing authorized users to retrieve and install Falcon sensors on workloads. Users can get full visibility into their infrastructure’s current operational state of workloads and sensors deployed.

"CrowdStrike is excited to partner with Google Cloud to enable seamless deployment of the Falcon sensor at scale to protect cloud workloads. With this integration, enterprises can secure their workloads quickly and easily and gain visibility into unmanaged, unprotected hosts," said Amol Kulkarni, chief product officer, CrowdStrike. “CrowdStrike Falcon was purpose-built in the cloud and natively protects workloads on any public or private cloud.”

“Security is a top priority for every business today,” said Jess Leroy, Director, Product Management at Google Cloud. “Organizations can leverage CrowdStrike’s automated endpoint security solutions to enable even greater levels of data protection for their workloads and applications running on Google Cloud or in a hybrid environment.”

CrowdStrike Falcon has transformed endpoint security with its cloud-native, single-agent platform, establishing a new standard in endpoint security. The Falcon platform integrates 11 cloud modules that span multiple capabilities, including endpoint security, security operations and threat intelligence to deliver customers the comprehensive breach protection necessary to thwart today’s sophisticated attacks. CrowdStrike’s one-of-a-kind approach starts with its intelligent lightweight agent that enables frictionless deployment of the platform at scale. CrowdStrike’s cloud-native technology provides unified prevention and detection capabilities, along with advanced threat hunting and security hygiene. Customers can leverage the power of the cloud to stop attacks - malware and malware-free, with speed and instant operationalization.
