Global Interoperability Leader Rebrands as Lyniate

Company Formed from the Merger of Rhapsody and Corepoint Announces New Name, Significant Growth, Top KLAS Ranking, New Hires

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--(HIMSS Booth #3758) Rhapsody and Corepoint have now launched their combined entity as Lyniate. This announcement coincides with a record year for the company, which has expanded 300 customer partnership agreements and grown its client base by more than 50 new customers. To support the company’s continued growth, Lyniate is also expanding its leadership team to include Scott Galbari as chief technology officer, and Sonal Patel as chief customer success officer. The company is also pleased to announce that once again its solutions have earned the top two rankings for Best in KLAS® healthcare integration engines.

As Lyniate, the company is committed to supporting both the Rhapsody and Corepoint product lines and customer bases. Product development and innovation will continue to remain a high priority for Lyniate, as is evident with the recent Rhapsody 6.5 and Corepoint 7.3 updates.

In bringing together two proven leaders in healthcare data integration, Lyniate has extended its leadership in addressing healthcare’s most complex interoperability challenges. That leadership is underscored in this year’s KLAS Research report, in which the Lyniate product lines hold both the number one and two spots in the integration engine category, with Corepoint earning Best in KLAS® with a score of 97.2, and Rhapsody close behind with 93.1. This also marks an unprecedented 11th consecutive year in which Corepoint has earned the #1 KLAS ranking in the integration engine category.

“This is an exciting time in the healthcare industry as interoperability has become one of the most dominant challenges and priorities across the market,” said Erkan Akyuz, President & CEO of Lyniate. “Bringing these two great companies together under a single brand at this time represents a tremendous opportunity for Lyniate to lead the transition of the entire industry from doing interoperability to being interoperable at a fundamental level. That is what the new era of healthcare requires, and we are committed to achieving that vision for our customers and the industry as a whole.”

Lyniate has brought on Scott Galbari to serve as chief technology officer, and promoted Corepoint’s Sonal Patel to chief customer success officer. Galbari joins Lyniate with over 20 years of experience in healthcare IT, developing and delivering interoperability, imaging, workflow, nursing, and patient flow solutions across the globe. Galbari will set the technology vision and strategy for the organization and continue to lead the design, development, testing, and release of future products. Galbari most recently served as the General Manager for McKesson and Change Healthcare. Patel, previously the vice president of client services, has been with Corepoint for nearly 15 years and will bring her proven experience in customer relationship management to her new role. Patel will lead the customer-facing services division, which includes support, implementations, training, and professional services for all products globally. Patel’s background includes clinical experience in the laboratory space as well as nearly 10 years with Antrim, Sunquest, and MISys.
