SailPoint Granted New Round of Patents for SailPoint Predictive Identity™

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SailPoint Technologies Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SAIL), the leader in enterprise identity management, today announced that the company has been granted additional U.S. patents related to the SailPoint Predictive Identity™ platform, the company’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)-enabled identity platform.

The first patent, “System and Method for Intelligent Agents for Decision Support in Network Identity Graph-Based Identity Management AI Systems,” is fundamental to the SailPoint Predictive Identity Recommendation Engine service. This service speeds the decision-making process by identifying and recommending who should have access to what and why and enabling auto-approval for low-risk access during approvals and certification campaigns.

The second patent, “System and Method for Role Mining in Identity Management Artificial Intelligence Systems Using Cluster Based Analysis of Network Identity Graphs,” relates to the new Access Modeling service, which streamlines the process of creating and updating enterprise role models. With the SailPoint Predictive Identity™ platform, these models define who can and should have access, based on their current role, job responsibilities and business needs, three areas that change constantly across the business.

These patents come on the heels of the original patent that SailPoint was granted for the SailPoint Predictive Identity™ platform last year for its graph-based approach to peer group analysis. This patent, “System and Method for Peer Group Detection, Visualization and Analysis in Identity Management Artificial Intelligence Systems Using Cluster-Based Analysis of Network Identity Graphs,” now includes two additional patents.
