Leadership Hire Supports Kinetica’s Commitment to Delivering Best-in-Class Active Analytics Platform

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kinetica, the leading Active Analytics Platform for the modern digital economy, announced the appointment of Tom Addis as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) today. The new hire will further support Kinetica’s rapid growth, and will lead the expansion of Kinetica’s enterprise sales globally.

Kinetica’s Active Analytics Platform brings together all key elements of dynamic analytics in a unified platform: historical data analytics, streaming data analytics, location intelligence, and artificial intelligence, which has led the company to triple-digit growth year-over-year since its inception, and has grown a global customer base that is split evenly between the U.S. and international markets. Addis, an industry veteran, will be tasked with expanding Kinetica’s global sales operation and will report directly to CEO Paul Appleby.

“We’re solving some of the world’s most complex problems for many of the world’s largest companies and governments,” said Paul Appleby, CEO. “The addition of a well-known executive with the experience of Tom Addis will help us accelerate this growth across additional industries and geographies.”

Addis has spent 30 years successfully developing and expanding businesses across the tech sector, most recently as the Chief Revenue Officer at Box. During his time at Box, Addis led operations and expansion of the company's enterprise sales organization, taking their revenue from $20M to $700M. Prior to joining Box, he was a senior executive at Salesforce.com and held senior leadership roles at Siebel Systems (Oracle) and IBM.

“Having worked with many of the world’s largest companies in my prior roles, I am excited to join Kinetica at a time where we are rapidly expanding our global presence and delivering game-changing technology across the Global 2000,” said Tom Addis, CRO. “The Kinetica Active Analytics platform recognizes that the most valuable business asset is data, and underpins the active analytical applications that deliver immediate, actionable, mission-critical information to our customers.”
