Envision Healthcare CEO Chris Holden to Depart Company

Board establishes interim Office of the CEO, launches national search for successor

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Board of Directors of Envision Healthcare—one of the nation’s largest multispecialty facility-based care provider groups—today announced the departure of President and CEO Christopher A. “Chris” Holden. Holden will be replaced by an interim Office of the CEO while the Board of Directors conducts a national search for a successor.

The Office of the CEO will be led by EVP and Chief Operating Officer Karey Witty, EVP and Chief Financial Officer Teresa Sparks, and Chief Administrative Officer Dave Esler.
