Incapital Adds Four More Professionals to Fixed Income Team

Nine executives hired over past six months as firm expands best-in-class platform

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Incapital LLC, a leading underwriter and distributor of fixed income securities and risk management investment solutions, today announced that it has hired four industry veterans to expand the capabilities of its fixed income platform and continue the firm’s institutional growth strategy. Incapital’s newest team members are Managing Director David Petrosinelli and Senior Vice Presidents Thomas Hofacker, Scott McGowan, and Larry Meding. The new hires will report to George Holstead and Laura Elliott, co-heads of fixed income.

Over the past six months, Incapital has added nine new senior professionals to its team to expand its client-centric fixed income distribution platform.

About the new hires:

• David Petrosinelli joins the firm as Managing Director, Institutional Sales and Trading. Mr. Petrosinelli specializes in asset-backed securities (ABS) and non-agency residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS). Formerly, he served as Managing Director at Brean Capital and has also held various positions at Piper Sandler Companies and Shay Asset Management. He began at Incapital on January 15 and is based in New York, NY.
• Thomas Hofacker has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Institutional Sales and will focus on corporates, agency and non-agency RMBS, commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), and ABS. Bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to Incapital, Mr. Hofacker joins from D.A. Davidson. He has also held institutional sales positions at BB&T Capital Markets and Pierpont Securities. Mr. Hofacker started on January 14 and is based in Boca Raton, FL.
• Scott McGowan joins Incapital as Senior Vice President, Institutional Sales. Previously, Mr. McGowan served in similar capacities at Penserra Securities, BB&T, Mountainview Securities, Advest and Coastal Securities. He brings more than 25 years of institutional sales generalist experience, with a specialization in mortgage-related products. Mr. McGowan started on January 6 and is based in Oklahoma City, OK.
• Larry Meding joins Incapital as Senior Vice President, Sales & Strategy. He brings to the firm over 20 years of experience working with financial institutions to manage risk and improve performance. Previously, Mr. Meding served as Senior Vice President with Ramirez & Co. and has held roles with Piper Jaffray (Piper Sandler), Morgan Keegan (Raymond James) and Sterne Agee (Stifel). Mr. Meding started on January 15 and is based at Incapital’s headquarters in Chicago, IL.
