Covenant Physician Partners Announces Three Appointments to Executive Leadership Team

Fresh off the company’s rebrand, Covenant continues its growth story with the right expertise at the helm and is poised for the future

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Covenant Physician Partners (Covenant) today announced the appointment of three senior leaders to the company’s Executive Leadership Team: Jason Dean as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer; Mark Kelly as Senior Vice President, Eye Care; and Beth Wampler as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer.

“These three strategic appointments will directly impact our ability to serve our physician partners and patients,” said Lew Little, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer at Covenant. “Jason, Mark and Beth have been critical to the growth of the company over the last several years. These promotions reflect both their work to date as well as their expected future contributions in 2020 and beyond.”

Jason Dean, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer

Mr. Dean joined Covenant in April 2018 as Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. During his tenure, he has helped Covenant to manage its financial reporting resources, improved auditing processes and decreased the time to close the company’s books each cycle. He is currently leading the implementation of a state-of-the-art Source-to-Pay system. Mr. Dean is a Certified Public Accountant with the state of Tennessee and holds a Certified Internal Auditor designation.

Mark Kelly, Senior Vice President, Eye Care

Covenant welcomed Mr. Kelly in November 2018 to lead its growing Eye Care division. Since joining the company, Mr. Kelly has been instrumental to the growth of that business, which has doubled both in revenue and the number of office and practice physicians over the past year. Prior to joining Covenant, Mr. Kelly served as Chief Executive Officer at multiple ophthalmology practices, driving double-digit growth and overseeing 200+ staff across 10 sites.

Beth Wampler, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer

Ms. Wampler has been with Covenant since July 2013 serving as Vice President of Human Resources. During this time, Ms. Wampler has been responsible for all human resources functions, supporting the company’s growth from 400 to more than 1,700 associates across the country. Ms. Wampler is certified with the Society of Human Resource Management as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional.
