NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global nominations are now open for the #WomenForward Awards recognizing innovative companies and inspiring individuals who are seeding the future by mentoring women business leaders, conducted by the Business Council for Peace (Bpeace).

Bpeace CEO, Toni Maloney commented, “The Bpeace #WomenForward Awards are the first and only cross-industry initiative to celebrate the trailblazers who are leading change and providing mentorship to enable women to thrive in the workplace.”

The 2020 Award finalists will be included in the second edition of Bpeace’s Playbook, describing in detail how organizations and individuals are succeeding in creating a vibrant female workforce.

The Awards recognize achievement in the following categories, across all industries:

Mary Stutts, Chief Diversity, Inclusion & Health Equity Officer, Stanford Health Care, and 2019 Women Forward Lifetime Impact Award Winner, stated, “If we make a woman successful they make us successful. The Women Forward Awards validates the truth that moving women forward in business reaps rewards for everyone from stake holders, to consumers, and most importantly, your employees.”

The online application closes February 28, 2020. Winners will be announced in April 2020. The awards will be presented on June 4, 2020, in New York City at the Yale Club.

“With the Women Forward Awards, Bpeace is shining a light on corporations mentoring women forward as inspiration to the female entrepreneurs Bpeace advises in economically challenged communities—like El Salvador and Guatemala,” said Maloney.

The Blue Ribbon Judges include: Ji Son Choi, Partnership Solutions Director, Worth Media; Matt Cooper, CEO, Skillshare; April N. Gozza, Executive Director, Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill; Dr. Rebecca Mark, Director, Rutgers Institute for Women’s Leadership; Kathryn Reed, Chair of the Board of Directors, Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill; Liz Smith, Senior Managing Director, AllianceBernstein, and Karen Vander Linde, Executive Mentor, Merryck & Co.
