Texas Governor Greg Abbott Appoints Two Alliant Health Solutions Employees to the State’s Chronic Kidney Disease Task Force

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mary Albin and Dany Anchía of Alliant Health Solutions (AHS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and value of health care, were appointed to the Chronic Kidney Disease Task Force by the governor of Texas, Greg Abbott. The task force coordinates implementation of the state’s plan for prevention, early screening, diagnosis, and management of chronic kidney disease, while also educating and empowering healthcare professionals.

Albin and Anchía both serve as leaders of the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Network of Texas, Inc., a subsidiary of Alliant Health Solutions. ESRD Network of Texas, Inc., holds the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) contract for ESRD Network 14 and serves more than 70,000 patients with end stage renal disease across the state.

As executive director, Mary Albin, BS, CPHQ, is responsible for the overall strategic and operational oversight for Network 14 contract operations. She holds nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare operations management, with a special emphasis on end stage renal care. She is also a member of the National Quality Forum and the Executive Directors Advisory Council for the Forum of End Stage Renal Disease Networks.

Dany Anchía, BSN, RN, CDN, serves as the clinical quality improvement director, where he oversees projects aimed at enhancing the quality of care for patients, addressing disparities, and providing clinical support to the Network’s service area. He possesses more than 17 years of experience in health care across various clinical settings, including home, in-center, nocturnal, and peritoneal dialysis. Additionally, he served as the 2018-2019 American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) Dallas chapter president.
