Booz Allen Appoints Judi Dotson to Lead National Security Business

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE:BAH) announced today that Judi Dotson, an Executive Vice President, will lead the firm’s National Security business and join the firm’s Leadership Team, effective April 1.

Throughout her 31 years at the firm, Dotson has developed market strategies, built teams and shaped business with a wide variety of federal defense and civilian clients. She now leads the firm’s Joint Combatant Command account, with clients throughout the Defense Department’s technology community.

“Judi Dotson is an outstanding leader of our people and our business,” said President and CEO Horacio Rozanski. “She has a strong record of anticipating the needs of our clients, shaping opportunities, and delivering with excellence, all while developing talented teams and the leaders of tomorrow.”

Dotson will succeed Executive Vice President Christopher Ling, who is retiring at the end of 2020 after a 29-year career with the firm.

“Booz Allen has been fortunate to have a leader of Christopher’s caliber,” Rozanski said. “He has been instrumental in deepening relationships with key clients in the Intelligence Community and growing our international business. He has made significant contributions to our firm’s success.”

Dotson will join a diverse Leadership Team that already consists of a majority of women. She has extensive experience serving clients at the intersection of national security and technology, including cybersecurity, analytics, digital services, and workforce management. Under her leadership, the firm has delivered essential programs to clients that include the Treasury Department, the Internal Revenue Service, EPA, Army, Air Force, Navy, and the Defense Acquisition University.

Dotson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Maryland. She has served on the board of directors for the public sector division of TechAmerica (formerly the Information Technology Association of America) and served as a member of the board of directors for the Nature Generation, a not-for-profit that inspires and empowers youth to make a difference through innovative environmental stewardship programs in literature, science, and the arts.
