On Tap Credit Union® Celebrates Latest Giving Campaign With Check Presentation to Ralston House

With the support of Members, Employees and the Community we were able to donate over $2,000 to Ralston House.

GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, On Tap Credit Union® celebrated the end to their annual holiday giving campaign with a check presentation for Ralston House Child Advocacy Center which helps child victims heal from abuse. The campaign ran from Thursday, November 14 until Tuesday, December 31. On Tap matched donations giving a combined contribution amount of over $2,000 dollars and all funds will go directly to the non-profit organization.

On Tap lives by the Credit Union core value of people helping people. Over the course of the past five years and with the support of Members, Board Members, Employees, and the Community, On Tap has given over a combined total of $6,600 dollars to Ralston House. We hope to continue this long-standing partnership for years to come.

“We are very thankful for our Members, Board Members, Employees, and the Community for supporting this great cause and to The Ralston House for allowing us to be their community partner,” said On Tap Credit Union President and CEO Tracie Wilcox. “It’s a real joy to be able to see first-hand the faces of the people we are able to help impact through this incredible non-profit organization.”

In 2018, Ralston House conducted 1,289 forensic interviews for children and teens suspected of being abused or witnesses to violent crime. Ralston House Child Advocacy Center works with law enforcement, human services and the community to provide a safe place to investigate child abuse and ensure victim services for children who have been physically or sexually abused or witnessed violence. Ralston House provides education and outreach to prevent child abuse. Their mission is to stop the abuse and start the healing.

“Thank you to On Tap for their generous support of Ralston House in continuing to help us with our mission to stop the abuse and start the healing,” said Don Moseley, Ralston House Executive Director. “By giving back, On Tap enables Ralston House and other youth-serving agencies to help keep children safer and reinforces our efforts to do everything possible in the communities that we serve.”
