QuickBridge Partners with OC United and Veterans Outreach OC for Its Annual Holiday Giving Drive

The Company Continues its Charitable Giving Program with Three Holiday Events

IRVINE, Calif.--()--QuickBridge, a privately held, leading alternative lender offering small business loans nationwide, recently participated in its annual holiday giving program, partnering with local non-profit organizations OC United and Veterans Outreach OC to help local communities and families in need.

QuickBridge began its holiday giving campaign in October with the OC United’s 5K Pumpkin Run and Children’s Book Drive. A dozen company-sponsored employees ran in the event, and employees also sponsored “little pumpkin” students from low-income Fullerton schools for the fundraiser.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, QuickBridge stepped up to support the Santa Ana Veterans Outreach OC food drive. Breakroom donation boxes were filled, and non-perishable food items were delivered to the center. The non-profit provides shared affordable housing to veterans whose sacrifices defending our freedom have left them in need.

In December, employees again devoted their time and pooled their resources to make the holidays special for two local families—with gift-wrapped clothes, toys, and gift cards. QuickBridge reached out to OC United to identify two families for the company’s fifth adopt-a-family holiday campaign. One family is in the THRIVE (Transitional Home Recognizing Independence, Value, and Empowerment) program, and the other is part of the foster family support program RESPITE (Resources, Education, and Support for Parents/Interventions for Trauma-Sensitive Environments).

“As our company continues to grow, we feel it’s essential for us to give back to our local community,” said President Ben Gold. “Our collaboration with OC United and Veterans Outreach OC allows us to direct our charitable energies toward people with immediate needs. It’s inspiring to hear their stories and see the impact of our contributions.”

OC United is a local non-profit organization made up of a collection of citizens, non-profits, and churches who believe they can accomplish more working together than apart. OC United exists to empower the vulnerable who have experienced the breakdown of the family unit through restorative relationships and life-skills development. It serves those who have experienced foster care, domestic abuse, homelessness, and under-resourced neighborhoods and schools.

“It’s truly inspiring to meet the families each holiday season. OC United does so much great work in our communities, and we’re fortunate to be able to play even a small role in what they do to improve lives,” said Gold.
