NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Risk Event-Driven Distressed Intelligence (REDD Intelligence), a leading provider of material news and analysis of Emerging Market event-driven special situations, is delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Osborn as Chairman of its Board of Directors.
Mr. Osborn brings a wealth of knowledge to REDD Intelligence as an executive with experience in the emerging markets and an expert in financial media. He will spearhead the company’s crossborder expansion strategy and work closely with Group CEO Valeria Girimonte to identify strategic opportunities.

Mr. Osborn has nearly 30 years of service on a FTSE 250 board and vast experience as an international executive and investor, focused on business-to-business publishing, financial services, social media and sustainability-related businesses.
Mr. Osborn has a distinguished career in financial media. In 1978, he joined Institutional Investor as a Senior Editor and later joined Euromoney in 1983, becoming the Editor of Euromoney at the end of 1985.
He served as an Executive Director of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC from February 1988 until January 2016 and was most recently the Group Publisher of that company.
He has also served on the boards and advisory boards of a number of companies in the US, Europe, Russia, and Asia.
