DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--()--Following an all-time record fourth quarter, JM&A Group now has even more to celebrate as 2018 marks the launch of its 40th anniversary.

Recognized as one of the leading finance and insurance (F&I) providers in the automotive industry, JM&A remains committed to increasing dealerships’ bottom-line profits through a menu of F&I products, fixed operations support, and innovative training opportunities through its Performance Development Center (PDC).

A subsidiary of JM Family Enterprises, Inc., JM&A initially formed in 1978 as Tender Loving Care to provide dealership partners with extended warranty contracts. What began as an operation with less than 10 people has evolved into an automotive industry giant with nearly 750 associates serving 3,700 dealers nationwide.   • 1978 – Tender Loving Care corporation forms, which later becomes Fidelity Warranty Services, a division of JM&A.
  • 1987 – Fidelity Warranty Services and Tender Loving Care exceed one million contracts.
  • 1997 – JM&A’s Performance Development Center is established to support the training needs of dealer’s F&I Departments.
  • 2004 – JM&A Group is awarded the J.D. Power Award for Highest Dealer Satisfaction based on the Dealer Contract Satisfaction Survey.
  • 2014 – JM&A Launches eContracting efforts; Kia extends its agreement to use JM&A’s F&I products branded under the automakers name.
  • 2017 – Dealer Source portal launches. Dealer Source was created to speed up online transactions and enable complete functionality on any mobile device and multiple browsers; JM&A forms partnership with Volvo and Sonic Automotive.

Looking towards the future, JM&A is focused on bridging the gap between virtual and in-person experiences. During the last 40 years, JM&A has accumulated a database of information to use for what the company is calling a Product Recommendation Engine. While using this tool, consumers will be prescribed F&I products based off behaviors learned through data collection. Data will also be used to create automated claims adjustments that can be accessed virtually, eliminating in-person customer service and creating more efficient experiences.
