SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--8x8, Inc. (NYSE:EGHT), a leading provider of cloud communications and customer engagement solutions, today announced it signed a lease for an office building under construction in San Jose, California that will become the company’s new corporate headquarters. A key component of 8x8’s global growth strategy, the company plans to move its expanding San Francisco Bay Area employee base, currently located in two separate offices, into the new office building by early 2019.

8x8 will be the first tenant at the new Coleman Highline development in San Jose, and will occupy all 162,000 square feet of Class-A office space in building number one. With ample room for future expansion, the development is close to major freeways and San Jose Mineta International Airport, and within walking distance to public transportation, food establishments and other amenities. The new 8x8 headquarters will allow the company to bring all of its employees in the region together in a new, state-of-the-art office facility.
