ZGlobal Inc. Adds to Energy Portfolio Management Services With Full Deployment of Silicon Valley Clean Energy

FOLSOM, Calif.--()--ZGlobal Power Engineering and Energy Solutions (ZGlobal) announced today a successful increase to its Energy Portfolio Management Services, with the full deployment of Phase 2 for Silicon Valley Clean Energy’s (SVCE) Community Choice Aggregation program. SVCE launched Phase 1 in April 2017 and is steadily increasing its load from 200 MW to 750 MW. This represents nearly 231,000 customer accounts with an annual load of 3,600 GWh’s.

“We are pleased to add additional customer load to our existing portfolio. We’ve augmented our staff to prepare for the increase allowing us to provide the best service to our clients,” said Christine Vangelatos, ZGlobal’s Executive Director of Analytics.

ZGlobal currently manages a diverse generation portfolio consisting of solar, wind, energy storage, hydro, geothermal, biomass, biofuel and fossil fuel resources totaling 1,775 MW spanning California, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Wyoming and Nevada along with customer load of 1,440 MW serving nearly eight million Californians.

In addition, ZGlobal provides reliability and compliance services for sharing of operating reserves for the Southwest Reserve Sharing Group (SRSG). SRSG is comprised of fifteen utilities with 24,803 MW peak load and 24,779 MW of generation capacity covering Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Texas and California including the Imperial Valley.
